North Sumner Elementary Says THANK YOU  to our local servicemen and women.  Below you will see a growing list of service men and women that have a connection to NSE.

Jay Meador  AM2 US Navy-Active duty,   Aviation Mechanic Specialist.  Jay is the son of Miss Ann, our Librarian. Jay is stationed in Marion, Il, where he is a Naval Recruiter.  

Eric Blittle   US Army- Active duty , Sgt. Blittle is currently stationed in Afghanistan.  He is the son of Margaret  Cole, one of our 2nd grade teachers.  Eric's wife and children live in Clarksville, TN.

Jack Usher  National Guard. Active duty. Currently in Iraq. Jack is the father of one of our students.

Joe Maddox US Army- Active Duty. Currently stationed in the United States. Joe is the son of Miss Joy, our custodian, and the cousin of Miss Amanda, one of our third grade teachers.

LeMegan Shelton US Army- Active Duty. Currently stationed in Iraq. She will soon be relocating to Alaska.  Shelton is the mother of one of our students.

Steven Bodine US Army- Active Duty . Currently stationed in Iraq.  He is the son-in-law of Mrs. Rippy, one of our first grade teachers.
